I spent some more time working on KUWL and KUWY this evening. Reid had finished cleaning up the transmission lines into the building and I started working on the remote control. As the sun set it started to snow up on the mountain. You have to keep a close eye on the weather here in Wyoming…It can change at a moment’s notice! I was just hoping that I would be able to get back down the hill. I would have left right then but did not want to leave the remote inoperable. Around midnight I got the remote mostly operational and decided to leave the site. Fortunately I was able to get down. We still have quite a bit of work to do in order to get these two stations on the air but at least the hardest part (hanging antennas) is done.
