Last winter just before we installed an STL receive antenna at our Jackson transmitter site, we discovered that another station had installed some posts on the site and sliced right through our satellite dish cable. We had to install a temporary cable. Unfortunately by the time we discovered the issue it was too late in the season to dig and uncover the damage.
Now that spring is here, Reid and I were able to dig up the posts and photograph the damage…
Beautiful scenery on top of Snow King…
A nice break in the snow! Spring time is here!
The second pole is directly in line with the conduit for our dish
(Our dish is further to the right–the dish in this picture is for another station)
Found the conduit…
Digging up the damage…The conduit is buried almost two feet deep!
It was in fact directly underneath one of the newly installed poles…
They went right through it!
Note the broken conduit and the damaged cable…
It’s always something…Now to get the damage repaired…
