Now that the tower in Douglas is back up, it is time to get our antenna put back on the tower. Since hanging an antenna is a fairly difficult process, Reid and I invited our Program Director, Roger Adams to accompany us.

Reid climbs to the top of the tower to make some initial preparations

Reid at the tip-top of the tower, 50 feet above the ground

Reid and Roger prepare the rigging for the tower
See? Program directors and engineers CAN cooperate! 🙂

Pulleys and canvas bag full of hardware at the base of the tower…

Roger manages a rope going up the tower…

Reid is almost finished mounting the outriggers for the antenna to the tower…
Two of three are mounted. The third will be mounted on a second visit.

Mounting the antenna to the outriggers…Almost done!

Done! After over 3 months we finally have this site back up to full power!
