Andrea and I had spent the night in Denver and decided to see a few sights on her birthday weekend.

First up, BD’s Mongolian Grill!  If you’ve never been to a Mongolian Grill restaurant before, it’s quite the experience!  You pick your (raw) food including noodles, meats and veggies from a buffet.  Next you pick sauces.  Workers cook it on a large flat grill right in front of you.  The first time I brought someone to one of these restaurants, they were sure I was trying to serve them raw food until I explained that they grill it after you make your selections!

Next we visited the Tattered Cover Book Store.  This is a book store unlike any other.  The selection is absolutely AMAZING.  It almost feels more like a library than a book store…The kind of place where you could just find a cozy corner and curl up all day long with a good book.  If you love books, this is the place to be!

Our third stop was Bass Pro Shops…Andrea wanted to look at some bows for target shooting.
I love my wife…  🙂

Uhhhhhhh….He’s right behind me, isn’t he…

It wouldn’t be a Bass Pro Shop without a large tank full of fish…

Of course, what day of wandering would be complete for a couple of geeks like us without a trip to Best Buy?
Did I forget to mention how much I love my wife?  🙂
