Today Larry and I headed for Torrington to install a satellite dish. This translator (like Rawlins) had previously been fed over the air from 91.9, KUWR. As with Rawlins, it is quite a stretch for the 91.9 KUWR signal to reach Torrington reliably. The satellite feed should ensure that the signal does not fade due to atmospheric conditions (except perhaps snow in the dish).
We had a difficult time pointing the dish (mostly due to the fact that I had not assembled and pointed one of these dishes before) but eventually we got it up and running.
