Once I had finished up in Casper, I headed down to our Douglas site to do some additional wiring on the remote control system.

The building…It isn’t much to look at and could probably use a new roof and some air handling.
It’s about one step above having the equipment rack directly outdoors…

The Douglas tower and antenna…It had fallen a couple years ago but is once again standing tall.  Unfortunately it was never rebuilt to its full height but it’s enough to put our antenna where it needs to be.  A tree growing close to the tower will need to be cut down to prevent future damage.  We don’t own the site and have little control over the conditions.

Working on the Douglas equipment rack…This time I’m connecting some indications from the modulation monitor to the remote control to allow additional monitoring of the site.
