Recently our General Manager and I have been traveling around to various locations in the state to “meet and greet” with listeners. The visits have been well received and a tremendous success. Today we are in Lander–a beautiful little town in Central Wyoming.
Our General Manager, Christina Kuzmych (Left) and me (right) with one of our loyal listeners at a local coffee shop.
Even in town one sees wildlife…Check out the deer on the lawn!
We visited a local natural feature known as “Sink’s Canyon”. This canyon is known for the unique flow of water through the rocks among other things.
The river runs through the rocks in the canyon…Absolutely gorgeous.
One of the unique features…The river runs through this cave in the mountains.
Large fish inhabit the waters of Sink’s Canyon–off limits to fishing but you CAN feed them.
A very colorful pool of water–the water is crystal clear but the minerals give the water gold and emerald hues.
Another pool of water in the canyon–crystal clear.
While in Lander I stopped to visit our translator site–this site is located in an oilfield. A bridge crosses the river to get to the oilfield.
Once again, UW88 stands ready to take me on to the next site!
