We use a device called an “importer” to generate additional HD Radio channels at a number of our sites. These devices are essentially Windows XP based PCs and occasionally require the same maintenance any other PC would. This time Casper is in need of attention… Quite a view from Casper Mountain…
Time to re-point the Casper dish…This one was a bit of a challenge since it is mounted up on the tower structure. We hired a bucket truck to give us a “lift” to the dish. The upper dish is ours…
At our Douglas site I caught these guys dangling from an adjacent tower. It’s quite amazing to watch a skilled tower crew work.
The next dish to re-point was at our Sundance site… Getting everything in position…
Next stop: Lander. This dish is fairly high off the ground…A ladder is required to access the feed point.
